A GREAT WAY TO START YOUR HOLIDAY SEASON!
This inspirational, collaborative production draws you into the spirit of Christmas, by telling the story of the events leading up to and including the birth of Jesus Christ through the powerful mediums of music, dance, and song. It features Erica Bryce and Troy McGee (Mary & Joseph) with the St. George Dance Company, Philippe Clark Hall's futureElite Vocal Academy, and other outstanding vocalists, musicians and dancers. Presented in ballet and contemporary/modern styles of six different choreographers, there is something for everyone!!
This year we are pleased to highlight the paintings of Rod and Justine Peterson of Gethsemane Fine Arts.
The purpose of this work is to bear witness that Jesus is the Christ and unite people of all denominations through common values of family, community, service, love and faith. In addition to the Nativity narrative, part one includes "the Gifts of Christmas"~holiday inspired works to set the tone for a season of joy...You are in for a special evening!
A review from last year:
"It was so beautifully done and very touching in the portrayal of the birth of Christ in a way that I had not seen and in ways I had not appreciated before. One of my favorite scenes was the portrayal of Joseph when struggling with what was happening with Mary, then Gabriel appears, and later Mary comes in. It brought me tears for several minutes each time I experienced it. I loved the production from the first scene to the last note and couldn’t help hiding in the wings of the stage to watch it from start to finish.I was grateful that I decided to sacrifice a little time at a busy season to experience such a wonderful treasure in adoration of the Savior and those important souls that played a key part in His birth. ~Shane J.
